The Easts Group is very proud of its history. Our official beginning dates back to 1908 when the football club was formed at Paddington Town Hall. Our first match was played on 20th April 1908. On the 10th October 1958, the Eastern Suburbs Leagues Club opened its doors on the first floor of the Bondi Beach Pavilion. We are very proud of our growth to date as we currently have five Club sites part of our group, being at Bondi Junction and Waverley located in the eastern suburbs, Berkeley in Sydney’s south, Kingswood in Sydney’s west and Woy Woy in Sydney’s north. We also proudly own The Sydney Roosters. Our most current achievement, to date, has been winning the 2013 NRL Grand Final, obtaining our 13th premiership.

To achieve our company vision of ‘A great community club, to which members wish to passionately belong’ means much more than just being recognised as great by our Members. It includes being great for our staff and our broader community, whilst, linking in with our reason of being, which is the Sydney Roosters.

We can only achieve this by attracting and retaining valuable team members who consistently and passionately deliver exceptional service to our patrons. For this reason we know our best asset are our people!

Our mission defines our commitment to our key stakeholders; it is centred around our members, our employees, our communities and our football team, and bringing these together united as an organisation.

They are our club. Promising the best service and products creating memorable entertainment experiences. They are our heartbeat. Providing the development work environment and recognition that encourage and promote growth. They are integrated. We will engage and support our communities at individual and group levels. Their success is our success. Investing in the best resources possible which maximise performance.

Providing us guidance on a daily basis are our values. At Easts we live and breathe our core values through our actions in the workplace. These values drive what we say, what we do, in essence our behaviours and our culture, for all roles in the business.

We are open, authentic and transparent, and we inspire trust by saying what we mean.

We value diversity and unique contributions and treat others as we would like to be treated.

We are a group united in working adventurously towards a common goal of excellence.

We project energy and passionate positivity about our club and the meaningful roles we play.

We are accountable for our actions and results, built upon making courageous and considered decisions.

It’s in our club, our people, our work, our history and the Roosters jersey.
